About

JP Band is a 4 piece band including bandmates Jailan Williams (vocalist and bassist), Jorge Chocobar (keyboardist), Justin McKenzie (drummer), and Carl Taylor II (guitarist). The band specializes in covering and performing songs across many genres from R&B to Jazz, Christian, Pop music, and more. The group has performed at the Nathaniel Russell House for the Historic Charleston Foundation’s presentation of the Charleston Festival. They’ve also played at The Dewberry, Hotel Bennett, Tobin’s Market, Flowertown Festival, YMCA Summerville, the Preservation Society of Charleston 70th Caroloplois Awards, and many other locations.
