For over 30 years, the Economic Outlook Conference has been regarded as an essential regional and national forecast for our business community. With recession and inflation concerns, this year’s conference occurs at a crucial time.
This year's conference will highlight globally renowned, international finance executive, Dr. Harry Broadman, who specializes in business growth, risk-mitigation, corporate governance and innovation. Interspersed with private-sector activities, his 38-year career has included being Chief of Staff of the President’s Council of Economic Advisors, a member of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, serving on the board of Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) and holding several positions in higher education for institutions, including Harvard and Johns Hopkins Universities.
Dr. Mark Witte, Professor of Economics at the College of Charleston’s School of Business will recap of the last 12 months and then deliver the regional forecast for 2023.
