CYP: Building Your Professional Brand

Explore the powerful impact a career branding strategy can have on your success. During this workshop, you will sort through the noise of resumes, roles and responsibilities and uncover your unique skillsets and VIPs (values, interests, personality), gaining critical career clarity to identify and attract the right opportunities. Erin Halford, Director of MBA Employer Relations and Professional Development at College of Charleston, will lead the workshop.

Participants will learn how to: 

• Identify your unique strengths and passions
• Craft a compelling career brand statement
• Build a strong online presence that aligns with your career brand
• Craft a resume and cover letter for the career you want – not the job you have
• Practice relationship-focused networking

If you’re seeking a new opportunity, or if your current career trajectory could use a boost, this workshop will equip you with the tools and strategies you need to sharpen your vision and implement an effective career branding strategy for ultimate growth and success.

Following the workshop, participants can get to know each other better and compete for prizes during networking bingo. One drink ticket is included with registration. The bar will only be accepting Visa/Mastercard.
