Dr. Sherlonda Adkins is a motivational speaker, success coach, national board-certified physician assistant, entrepreneur, world traveler, philanthropist, AND dreamer who has spent the last 25 years serving a socioeconomically and ethnically diverse population of patients, clients, students, and audiences. Dr. Adkins is known for her ability to deliver engaging motivational messages with wit and style geared primarily towards professionals who find themselves feeling STUCK when their current goals, career aspirations, and interests shift and no longer represent the current version of who they are. 

Dr. Adkins is the owner and founder of PsychMYway, South Carolina’s 1st PA-owned outpatient telepsychiatry practice and is also one of the few psychiatric providers treating patients in the United States Virgin Islands where she medically treats patients who suffer from mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder. 

Dr. Adkins earned a Doctor of Medical Science from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina where she is an Affiliate Instructor, a Masters in Public Administration, a joint program through the University of South Carolina and the College of Charleston, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the College of Charleston. She is also a proud 2023 Morehouse School of Medicine CHAMPS Fellow.

Dr. Adkins is married to her college sweetheart, Rev. Randy Adkins,Jr. and they have three children. Her hobbies include exploring self-help content, amateur photography, dancing, and traveling for missions and pleasure (23 countries...and counting!)
