A workplace strategist, executive coach, and trainer, Liz is a skilled sociologist and former college educator who spent decades in corporate roles transforming underperforming teams through intentional training and talent development. She specializes in Professional Development & Team Training, Workplace Strategies, Conflict Resolution & Mediation, and Executive Coaching for Emerging Leaders.
Liz started her career as a college professor at the University of Virginia before joining the Estee Lauder Companies as a sales and education executive. While there, she turned the lowest-performing territory into the nation’s top performing and was named manager of the year. She’s held leadership, sales, and operations roles at Tempur-Pedic, Moneypenny, and Hilti, where she co-founded the company’s first diversity and inclusion committee.
A skilled speaker, she has presented at various professional events, such as the National Association of Women in Construction Palmetto Chapter Conference in 2021 and the Women in Defense Leadership Summit in 2022, among others. She regularly moderates engagements for the Charleston Metro Chamber and addresses Leadership Discovery Classes for new members. Giving back to her community is a priority. Liz currently serves as the chairwoman for Thrive, a professional women’s organization affiliated with the Charleston Metro Chamber. She sits on the executive board at the Harbour Club at WestEdge as the chairwoman of the membership committee. She also serves on the board of Warrior Surf Foundation, an organization that provides surf therapy to veterans struggling with PSTD.
She holds a Master of Arts in Sociology from the University of Virginia, where her research focused on higher education stratification by gender, race, ethnicity, and economic class. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Politics from Westminster College and studied internationally in Costa Rica and Argentina.
