Serving as the Navy’s technical backbone, Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (formerly SPAWAR) addresses the Warfighter’s top technology challenges through research, development, delivery and sustainment of the very best in battlespace solutions to win the Information War. 

As we wrap up Cybersecurity Awareness Month, join us to hear more from NIWC Atlantic’s Commanding Officer CAPT Nicole Nigro and Deputy Executive Director Mr. Kevin Charlow as they provide an overview of the command’s growing presence in Charleston since the 1970s, their estimated $3.2 billion economic impact to the State of South Carolina, collaborative efforts with other Federal entities such as the U.S. Coast Guard, support to local schools via STEM outreach efforts and more.
